Kathleen Gibbs is a retired teacher of English, German, ancient history, journalism, and humanities. She's also an archaeologist, a photo archivist, traveler, writer, mother of three, grandmother of eight, and now a great-grandmother – these are just some of the different hats she's worn over the years.
Her historical novel, Journey of the Cheyenne Warrior, began her writing career. She loves to do research and tries to blend many fascinating details with true historical events in her stories – along with interesting main characters. Kathleen has a Bachelor’s Degree in Language Arts from the University of Oklahoma and a Master’s Degree in Southwestern Studies from the University of Central Oklahoma. She has been a high school teacher for 30 years, worked at the Oklahoma Historical Society in Photo Archives for two years, and was State President of the Oklahoma Anthropological Society for four years. She lives in Bethany, Oklahoma. |
