Rita DurrettBorrowed Time
Senior year of high school is supposed to be filled with friends, parties, proms, graduation, and making plans for the future. For Sabrina Anson, one party went horribly wrong. After she and her boyfriend argue at the party, Sabrina storms off, never expecting she would collide with destiny. She finds herself lost and confused in another place and time with no memory of her parents, Camden, or the life she knew. |
Rita Durrett graduated from Oklahoma State University with a love for teaching and began a career that spanned over 38 years. Her second passion is writing. Those years in public education gave Rita insight and knowledge about American families, their inner turmoil, instability, and resilient structure. Living in the Midwest exposed her to individuals as unique and inspirational as the land from which they came. Bits and pieces of each of those myriad personalities help her to create memorable characters that come alive on the page.
Rita lives in Elk City, Oklahoma. She is the mother of two sons and the grandmother of six boys and one girl. When not playing with grandchildren, she travels or does crafting. A reluctant blogger, she enjoys sharing her thoughts on life and information about her publications and projects online. |
